Case Manager I – Employment Services

Provides Supported Employment  service to individuals enrolled in the Bridgeways Employment Services Program, including regular outreach in the individual’s community. Assists individuals referred through their primary clinician at another Behavioral Health Agency in development of treatment/recovery plan, vocational assessment, resume’, internet job searches, interview skills, obtaining and maintaining employment consistent with plan.  Addresses perceived barriers to employment and increased mental health symptomology related to stress while collaborating for successful job placement and job retention.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understands and practices safekeeping of client protected health information per Bridgeways’ HIPAA policies and procedures.
  • Assesses referred clients’ employment interests, skills, abilities, preferences, goals, and barriers to employment at time of admission to the Employment Services Program, and on an ongoing basis, utilizing background information and work experiences.
  • Assist clients in understanding the impact of employment on benefits, and where to find assistance as needed.
  • Creates an individual treatment/recovery plan with the individual, in collaboration with the referring primary clinician and others identified as important as natural supports.
  • Works closely with Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and other local employment service systems.  Under DVR contract, Bridgeways Employment Specialists facilitates Community Based Assessments (CBAs) as well as Job Placement and Job Retention services for DVR customers.
  • Assists the individual in job readiness, job development, and job search activities directed toward jobs that are consistent with their needs, interests, and preferences. Completes, in collaboration with the individual, a vocational assessment, resume’, internet job searches, interview skills, mock interviews and if requested, support during interviews at potential employers.
  • Develops job opportunities with community employers and provides consultation to employers, assisting with coordination, communication, and education about working with employees with disabilities.
  • Provides education and support to employers regarding working with individuals with disabilities.  This may include information about mental illness, Americans with Disability Act, how to provide accommodation, and how to research potential financial incentives for participating in the program.
  • May include supporting individuals through applying, interviewing and retaining employment at Bridgeways as a Mission Focused employee, or in another community based, competitive job.
  • Provides ongoing support, education and consultation to Bridgeways staff regarding an individual’s employment goals, job performance, and special needs.
  • Collaborates care with referring primary clinician to coordinate and integrate employment services into mental health treatment.
  • Documents service and maintains electronic records in accordance with Bridgeways documentation and confidentiality standards and and/or other contract requirements

Case Manager I – Housing Programs

Bridgeways is seeking an experienced Case Manager I to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Housing Program team. You will be providing supportive clinical services to facilitate housing placement, maintenance and mental health stability within our Housing programs. Duties to include facilitating access to safe, secure and affordable housing, providing supportive services to individuals to help maintain housing, entering required data into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), conducting housing meetings in Bridgeways’ owned/managed housing, preparing data and reports to funders and attending community meetings on Bridgeways’ behalf.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social science related field required, experience working with adults with chronic and persistent mental illness and familiarity with local, state, and federal low-income housing resources, community resources, and local homeless programs.
  • Agency-Affiliated Counselor Registration from WA State Department of Health.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid, BHO, WAC, and managed care client requirements regarding clinical services and documentation at a highly developed level.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated skills in the effective provision of clinical behavioral health services in adult mental health.
  • Knowledge of current behavioral health care practices.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated skills in the processes of CQI, quality assurance, and quality improvement.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal housing guidelines, trends, and funding opportunities.
  • Knowledge of Landlord/Tenant Law, Fair Housing Laws, Homeless Management Information Systems, Shelter Plus Care Guidelines, and community housing resources.

Manufacturing Worker III

Performs advanced bench or line assembly operations and other related manufacturing processes as a skilled operator to produce quality products in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing setting. Works independently with little to no supervision.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Understands and practices safekeeping of client protected health information per Bridgeways’ HIPPA policies and procedures.
  • Sets up work station independently, gathering parts, supplies and jigs that are necessary to work the operation. Is cross-trained through-out the shop and able to assist other operators as needed.
  • Reviews work order and technical drawing as indicated and understands the process requirements.
  • Performs the operation as specified, identified in the router working within productivity expectations, quality standards and customers on time delivery requirements.
  • Completes job documentation as required.
  • Self-checks work for quality and accuracy.
  • If qualified, will be assigned and use a check stamp as shop verification requires.
  • Performs basic rework operations.
  • Assists Lead Production Worker with duties as required.
  • Ensures proper PPE is worn and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Maintains a clean working area at all times by disposing of any unnecessary trash.
  • Examples of skilled operations include:  complex rivet and hilock operations; countersinking, training other manufacturing workers, performing advanced wire harness layout, crimping, soldering and managing hazardous waste collection, separation, and disposal.

Manufacturing Worker II

Performs intermediate bench or line assembly operations and other related manufacturing processes to produce quality products in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing setting. Works independently with access to job assistance as needed.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Understands and practices safekeeping of client protected health information per Bridgeways’ HIPPA policies and procedures.
  • Sets up workstation as appropriate for specific operation(s) assigned.  Is cross trained and can perform a variety of jobs in the shop with limited assistance.
  • Reviews work order and technical drawing as indicated and understands the process requirements.
  • Performs the operation as specified, identified in the router working within productivity expectations, quality standards and customers on time delivery requirements.
  • Completes job documentation as required.
  • Self-checks work for quality and accuracy.
  • Ensures proper PPE is worn and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Maintains a clean working area at all times by disposing of any unnecessary trash.
  • Examples of operations include: simple multi-step assembly, assembly requiring bond, basic riveting and hilock operations, assemblies requiring close tolerance, non-certified sealing, fuel dam assemblies, basic wire harness layout, crimping, soldering and advanced kitting operations.

Quality Inspector

Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Understands and practices safekeeping of client protected health information per Bridgeways’ HIPPA policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for First Article, receiving, in-process and final inspection.  Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
  • Maintains integrity of the quality system data base while meeting all customer requirements
  • Proven ability to use various quality test and measurement tools.
  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production & quality supervisors.
  • Provides instruction and assistance to production as required
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
  • Organizes and prioritizes work so that production schedules are maintained
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; inputting data into quality database.
  • Assists in maintaining/ monitoring quality standards  and the quality system, including but not limited to ISO9001,  AS9100 and agency procedures and policies
  • Keeps measurement equipment operating and within certification.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  • Acts as a strong role model for production workers in order to actively promote quality initiatives and procedures.
  • Works collaboratively with department heads on electronic manufacturing support systems in order to achieve strategic growth objectives .
