When a production schedule is tight, small mechanical tasks can become big bottlenecks. Riveting, drilling, bonding, torquing, finish touch-ups, and hardware installation all take time, accuracy, and the right equipment. That is where Bridgeways fits in.
Bridgeways’ mechanical core capabilities are built around detailed, hands-on assembly work. Our team supports hardware installation and metal work including riveting, drilling, dimpling, close hole tolerance work, countersinking, micro-shaving, roller swaging, lock wire installation, and torquing. These are not “extra” steps in the manufacturing process they are the steps that help assemblies move forward correctly the first time.
We also support bonding work, including bonding of shims and fillers, as well as rubber and metal to non-metal surfaces. With equipment such as an Industrial Grieve oven for baking, drying, and curing adhesives and bonding materials, Bridgeways can help customers manage work that requires both precision and process control.
Our mechanical shop is equipped for practical production support. Bridgeways’ equipment includes belt and disc sanders, grinders, multiple drill presses, a mill drill, and a 36-inch compression riveter. That gives our team the ability to handle drilling, cutting, grinding, shaping, polishing, chamfering, milling, curing, and riveting in support of customer requirements.
For aerospace-related work, Bridgeways brings certified capabilities that include BAC5000 sealing, BAC5018 installation of safetying devices, BAC5430 fabrication and installation of resin bonded laminated shims or solid fillers, and BAC5736 application of chemical and solvent resistant finishes.
What makes Bridgeways different is not just the capability list. It is how we work. Customers have described Bridgeways as a high-performing supplier that brings the capability of a larger shop with a more hands-on level of service. Bridgeways’ manufacturing strategy is centered on helping clients keep businesses moving through quality, flexibility, and reliable partnership.
Bridgeways is a strong fit for companies that need a dependable partner for detailed mechanical work, especially when internal teams are stretched; production needs are changing, or assemblies require careful execution.
If your team needs support with mechanical assembly, bonding, hardware installation, or certified aerospace-related processes, Bridgeways is ready to help.
